Island drinks are the cocktails of the summer. Meant to be enjoyed while laying under the toasty summer sun on a beach towel or lawn chair – with the sound of the ocean waves lapping at the edge of the beach. What a pretty picture. It’s too bad not everyone is privileged enough to live near a beach. 
So for those of you that can’t make it, this drink is for you. (It’s perfect for everyone, really, like we need an excuse to get a lil tipsy te he) Sit back, relax and imagine yourself in an island paradise – sipping on some fruity punch.
Island Punch
1 oz of Silver Rum
2oz Orange Juice
2oz Pineapple Juice
Float of Grenadine
Mix the rum, orange juice and pineapple juice in a collins glass filled with ice first. Float the grenadine on the top and garnish with an orange wheel and an umbrella. Enjoy!
